A lot of of the Trump stuff is just keys jangling - ditching the press (who cares) Hamilton (ditto)

But are all diplomats going to have to stay at the new Trump Hotel in DC - this not a life or death deal either - but a decent conflict that could show the path that will lead to "Hillary Clinton" type non ending scandals

Trying to get psyched for Half Marathon in January

Finally cooled down in Houston - good time to start running again
Gets kinda boring after awhile -but good for now - going for 4th half - I am slow at these - figured out the difference between a running and jogging is about 3 minutes a mile (maybe 4)

Boston and White Mountains

Incredible place to visit and perfect time of year.
Boston is walkable and the city has a great vibe - touristy if you want - or could just go kind of be "part of the city"
Portland Maine and the White Mountains during the "fall color" of the leaf changes is amazing.
Could spend a few more weeks in both places and not see everything

Fall foliage in New England

Going to see the Fall Foliage in Portland Maine - pretty excited - hope to see all the colors
Plus should be cool in Houston by the time we get back!!

Clinton and Trump Specials on CNN

They were pretty interesting - better than listening to the talking head that are all getting really old

Very smart, conservative, didn't know how to handle Obama when he got out in front in 2008, wasn't really too phased by Bill's indiscretions - a very determined person -but lacks that magnetism people want from a president

Trump
Hard worker as well - loves the spotlight, way to cocky, big time bully, banks saved him from personal bankruptcy by figuring they would be better off fighting his way out than put out on the sidelines by bankruptcy - shoots from the hip and doesn't go into detail on anything
Clearly making it up as he goes along

Term Limits for Congress

I think everyone is ready for this election to be over - it lasts forever and it's just waiting to see what Trump will say today while Clinton rides it out

Need a movement for term limits for Congress - say three terms in Senate (18 yrs) and five in House (10 years) - that's 28 years if someone wants to do both.
Need age limits as well - can't run after your 75 - it's a lifestyle for these guys - not a public service

Clinton needs to just stick to "unstable" for Trump - simple and too the point
He proves it almost every day
Then go with the simple stuff - somehow that he is a bullshit artist making it up as he goes along

Clintons got to learn how to make fun of Trump

Clintons campaing needs to learn how to make fun of Trump and get under his skin -

What color is is hair today - yellow, orange or blond
He's a 70 year old man with a bad comb over
He's been bankrupt 4 times and now wants to play with house money - the taxpayers

Clinton can't do this - maybe Kaine can do it - not as harsh as the Republicans - more as all just fun

It is hard to see how either Trump or Hillary can bring the country together
I give Hillary a better chance - she is hardworking/smart -but can't get out of her own way on controversies and just can't relate

Meanwhile - Trump is just nuts
As a side note - so is the Republican party

State Politics seem to be able to get things done - while in Washington all they do is pass meaning less resolutions and cannot tackle any tough issues - guns/immigration - which will be hard to do and take compromise - which is a dirty word in Washington

I don't know how Trump replacing his campaign manager will change anything - he's still Trump.

It will be interesting to see if he makes it thru the convention - I'm guessing he will - I'm sure Hillary hopes he does.  She's got to be sitting back thinking - after all these years - how did I get to run against this guy - finally got some luck running my way - but of course - it's not over yet.
